#GivingBack · Australia

You already send people to good businesses.
Now get paid for it.

FLIP tracks the referrals you make, makes sure they're followed up, and pays you when they turn into work. And half of what the platform takes goes to the people who run your local community, with 1 percent of FLIP360's own share going to the philanthropic fund. That is #GivingBack.

One referral, start to finish. Four handshakes, the invoice, the payment, the money in your wallet.

Where every referral dollar goes

You keep 75 percent. The other 25 percent builds the network and the community.

One worked example, the mortgage broker row of the referral policy: a $1,170.00 referral commission on a home loan.

Members vote on who receives it. Local and national beneficiaries are chosen by Flip360 members, not by head office. Junior footy, surf life saving, a school breakfast program, a men's shed, your nomination.

Percentages are the referral policy. Dollar figures are one worked example; your referral fee depends on the profession and is agreed before any introduction is made.

Built on a model that has already worked

Built from a referral model that achieved:

2xmarket share in two years
$1.6mcapital revenue generated
90+years combined business experience

Now rebuilt for every Australian community.

The problem you already know

Referrals disappear.

You have been giving this value away for years. Every day. In every suburb in the country.

"Who did your kitchen?"A customer asks. You give them a name. The builder gets a $40,000 job.You get: nothing
"Know a good accountant?"Your mate asks over a beer. You text him a number. He becomes a client for ten years. You get: nothing
"I need a mortgage broker."Somebody at the salon says it out loud. You know one. You make the introduction. You get: nothing

Then nothing. Nobody follows up. Nobody tells you what happened. The business gets a new customer, the customer gets looked after, and the person who made it happen gets nothing. So, after a while, people stop bothering.

How FLIP works

No referral gets left behind.

When you send someone through FLIP, it is written down. The business has to respond. You can see what happened. And when the work gets done, you are paid for the introduction.

Written down

Tracked

Every referral has a record. Who sent it, who got it, what happened next. Nobody can argue later about who introduced whom.

Accountable

Followed up

The business that receives the referral has to pick it up. The ones who look after people rise. The ones who do not get removed.

Paid

Rewarded

When a referral turns into work, you receive 75 percent of the referral commission. Not a thank you. Money. Half of the platform's take stays with the people who run your local community, and 1 percent of FLIP's own share goes into a community fund, voted on by the people who live where the referral came from.

Before you ask

Not another networking club.

×No breakfasts.
×No attendance rules.
×No forced referrals.
×No "you referred me, so I owe you."

You choose who you trust. FLIP simply tracks what happens next.

Make it personal

What are your referrals already worth?

Move the sliders. Most people are surprised.

Those introductions could be worth approximately
$42,120 a year
Referral fees you generate a year$42,120
With FLIP, you receive 75 percent$31,590
Into the community fund from your referrals$53

A rough guide, not a promise. It depends on how many of your referrals turn into paid work and the commission set for each profession. Right now, for most people, the number is zero.

Why you will actually get paid

Five handshakes. Each one signed by the person who was there.

This is the machinery under FLIP. You never have to think about it. It is why nobody can argue later about who introduced whom, and why the money arrives.

Quality counts

Responsiveness is measured. An honour point system shows who looks after the people sent to them.

Where FLIP came from

FLIP didn't start with an app.

It started more than 20 years ago, when Matt Punter discovered how powerful referral networks became when somebody owned the relationship and was accountable for what happened next.

Matt had set up a mortgage broking arm inside Conveyancing Works. It grew to around 9 percent of the market, but the referrals were all over the place. They would surge, then collapse, then surge again. So he gave entrepreneurial people their own licensed territories and let them build referral networks, without needing a legal background.

Referral networks perform better when somebody owns the relationship and is accountable for what happens next.

Now we're building that model nationally.

The fund takes 1 percent of FLIP360's own share of every referral commission, never from seat sales or membership fees. Example: $24,650 of referral commissions in one region puts $30.81 into the fund, $24.65 local and $6.16 national. Real regions, real amounts and the organisations funded are published as they happen.

Questions people ask

Straight answers.

What does it cost?

Membership is $1,500 a year, paid once. Community Manager and Regional Community Manager positions are a one-off entry cost, which Matt walks you through personally before you commit to anything.

Do I have to refer people back to anyone?

No. There are no reciprocal obligations. You choose who you refer to and who is in your community.

How do I get paid?

When a referral you made turns into paid work, the business pays a referral commission through FLIP: a set percentage of the revenue that referral earnt them. You receive 75 percent of it. It is tracked from the moment you make the referral, so there is no arguing about who introduced whom.

What does "goes back to the community" actually mean?

Two things. First, half of the platform's 25 percent is paid to the Regional Community Manager and Community Manager who run your region and your club, so it stays local. Second, 1 percent of FLIP360's own share of every referral commission goes into the philanthropic fund (0.125 percent of every commission paid on the platform), from the first dollar. 80 percent of the fund stays in the region the referrals came from and the people there vote on where it goes; 20 percent is pooled nationally. Seat sales and membership fees never feed the fund.

Is this a networking club?

No. There are no breakfasts, no attendance rules and no obligation to refer anyone. It is a way of making sure the referrals you already make are followed up and rewarded.

Do I need to understand the technology?

No. If you can send a text message you can use FLIP. The technology keeps track; you keep connecting people.

I run a small business. What is in it for me?

Better quality customers, because they arrive recommended by someone they trust. And a system that holds you to following them up, which is how good businesses grow.
